   Resident Camps

The Gallia County Board of Health is required by the State of Ohio to enforce rules governing the licensing and operation of Resident Camps and Day Camps as specified in Chapter 3701-25 of the Ohio Administrative Code.

Definitions
  • Resident Camp means a facility which is being primarily utilized for the purpose of camping, that requires overnight residence, indoor or outdoor activities, and exists on any tract of land together with any buildings or other structures pertinent to its use.
  • Day Camp is a "resident camp" that does not require overnight residence.
