   Emergency Response

The Public Health Infrastructure (PHI) Grant is designed to bolster county planning, preparedness, and response to natural or intentional disasters that could impact public health.  The program implemented with PHI Grant funds is designed to improve communications systems, design and implement plans to prepare for and mitigate emergencies with a public health focus, and assist with disease reporting and survelliance.

The goal of the PHI program is to work with community partners to address bioterrorism, outbreaks of infectious disease, and other public health threats and emergencies.  For additional information and ways you can assist your community, contact your Gallia County Emergency Response Coordinator, Cheryl Godwin at 740-441-2965, cheryl.godwin@odh.ohio.gov .
