The Gallia County Health District maintains death records for those who died in Gallia County from 1908 to present.
By order of the State Vital Statistics Office (July 1, 2003) only certified copies may be issued.
In Person
Death certificates are available at our office during regular business hours (8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.) Monday – Friday. You will be asked to fill out an application for each record requested. Certificates are made while you wait and usually only take a few minutes.
